Atlas Painting Company, one of North
Mecklenburg’s largest enterprises, specializes in the painting of fine
luxury homes. Simonini Builders recognized the excellence of Atlas
Painting Company for the significant role it played in enabling
Simonini to be awarded the 2000 National Housing Quality Award, the
highest achievement in home building. |

Two brothers, Tim and Jay Montazeri, began their painting business
the spring of 1993 in Clemson, South Carolina. The young men
moved their business to Cornelius, North Carolina in 1994.
As their business developed, Atlas Painting Company became one
of the prime painting contractors in the Lake Norman area. They
were the major painting contractor for a host of builders, including
Richard Dobson Builders, Pulte Homes, M/I Homes and St. Lawrence
Homes.

By 1996 the company had established an untarnished reputation
for excellence among North Mecklenburg County builders. Tim and
jay made a major decision at that point in their development.
They decided to introduce a Custom Painting Division, which would
specialize in the decorating of luxury homes.
With this move into high scale painting, Atlas Painting Company
attracted major building contractors who were in the business
of producing up-scale housing. Leading the way was Simonini Builders,
who later recognized Atlas Painting Company for their consistent
excellent. Other contractors building up-scale homes turned to
Atlas Painting Company, including Lakeland Luxury Homes, Young
Builders, Potter Builders and Augusta Homes.
Exciting new neighborhoods are forming in the Peninsula and The
Point as luxurious new homes bordering Lake Norman are being
constructed by some of the areas foremost builders. Atlas Painting
Company is there too, decorating these fine homes. |

Currently, Atlas Painting Company
employs a highly trained full-time crew of 35 experienced painters.
They use state of the art equipment to accomplish any painting
requirement.
